You walk across the Weyr Bowl, continuing with your visits to the Dragonrider weyrs. You see two small objects darting about in the air. As you come closer you can make out the outline of two firelizards. At first, the smaller of the two appears to be a black color. After a moment, however, it is clear that there is a green tint to the tiny creatures hide. The two dash off into the entrance of a Candidate weyr, you close behind them.
"'Heyla. Come in, it's not like there's a door keepin' ya out." The distinct drawl of a feminine voice calls you from the inner chamber. You walk through the dragon cavern, looking around as you do. The dragon couch is made of a dark stone, but a brightly colored quilt lays on top of it. A dragon blanket isn't something you've seen in many of the weyrs. A sound startles you from behind, and you turn to see a dragon step carefully into the weyr. The green tilts her head to one side and gives you a draconic grin.
Come in! Come in! I'm Riabith. Go on in there before she gets huffy. The green winks at you by closing two sets of eyelids, then wanders over to her couch.
You walk into the living chamber, not suprised to see the simplicity to it. The bed sits in the corner, a colorful quilt covering it instead of the usual sleeping furs. Plain tapestries of simple Terran designs decorate the walls, though the simple designs suggest they are used mainly to keep out the chill of the stone. A tiny chest of drawers sits at the end of the bed, a cotton shirt half hanging out of the lid.
To the side of the room, by the small hearth, sits a table. A girl sits at that table, watching you with patient curiousity. Her feet were propped up on the table, her lumbering boots still on. She has her strong arms crossed in front of her, watching you with a slight smile. Her black hair hangs in tight braids down to her shoulders. She has coal black eyes which lightly reflect the fire in the dark room, as do yours.
"Go 'head and have a seat. M'name is Azrael. I'm a Dragonrider here at Asura. I was a flit healer 'fore becoming a Candidate, and then I Impressed my lil' Ria." By her appearance, she is most definitely not bred of the higher-ranking class. She's dressed in the type of clothes one would fine in a cotholder or root-farmer. Her hair is kept shorter than most you have seen, as is traditional fitting a woman of the Weyr, though you have the distinct feeling she isn't weyrbred.
"Well then. I'm 'fraid I'm not much for talking. If you'd like, I'll show you 'round my weyr and tell you a bit about m'self, though. We're supposed to be curteous to visitors." She seems rather comfortable with her legs propped up on the table, and you glance around the weyr to see what of interest you might find to talk about with this young woman.
