Master Weaver Raela (mother)

Raela still lives at Asura Hold. She has had her Master ranking for twenty years now, and is nearing her fiftieth birthing day. She is still happily married to Firelizard Healer Zaroen. She has had six lovely children, including Azrael herself. She is very proud of them all, but mainly Zarala and Roana who followed in her footsteps. She has a blue and a bronze firelizard named Arie and Zari respectively.

Firelizard Healer Zaroen (father)

Zaroen resides at Asura Hold with his wife and three of his six children. He is married to Raela, a Master Weaver, and has been so for quite some time. They are celebrating their thirtieth anniversary at summer solstice. He is very happy that both Lazlo and Azrael followed in his footsteps. He is slightly perturbed, however, that Azrael is now choosing to Stand as a Candidate. He treats Damina, Azrael's best friend, as an adopted daughter.

Journeywoman Weaver Zarala (sister)

Zarala is a tall, energetic young woman. She is well into her twenty-fifth Turn. She has married the Steward of Asura Hold named Krysill. They have two lovely daughters, a four year-old name Silla and a two year-old named Kryral.

Firelizard Healer Lazlo (brother)

Lazlo is still an independent and reambunctious young man. He is twenty-one, and is currently traveling along the coast between the Weaver Hall and Asura Hold. He rides a prize runnerbeast name Rio, and races him at Gathers and other special events. He visits the Weyr when he passes by, and usually only a night or so.

Candidate Laroa (sister)

Laroa has been a Candidate for three years. She is eighteen, and determined to Stand as a Candidate until she either reaches the age of twenty-one or they make her step down. She is fairly pretty, with brown eyes and blonde hair. She has a brown firelizard named Quee and a bronze firelizard named Queg. She is good friends with her sister Azrael and another Firelizard Healer named Damina.

Apprentice Weaver Roana (sister)

Roana is fifteen and an Apprentice Weaver at the main Crafthall. She has been studying there for three years, and has made quite a name for herself. For her first project she made a quilt, which she then sent to Azrael has a birthing day present. She is studying under a Master Weaver that is a friend of Raela's, and uses her break days to catch a ride from a rider who is the friend of the family's to come and visit her parents and siblings.

Candidate Raezon (brother)

Raezon is the youngest of the family. He is a spritely, thirteen year-old who began his Candidacy last year. He can often be seen tagging along behind either Laroa or Azrael on any given rest day. He is hopeful and sometimes sickeningly optomistic. He has two green firelizards name Ahab and Starbuck.
