Weyrwoman Kayan,
Rider of Gold Zreinth
You walk into what is by far the largest of the weyrs. As soon as you step in, a gold dragon stands before you and looks down at you. The Queen watches you for a moment before turning her regal head and bugling to the living chamber. A woman emerges from behind the curtain and looks at you for a moment.
"Welcome. My name is Weyrwoman Kayan. The large golden bulk you see before you is Senior Queen Zreinth." The woman smiles, ignoring the grumbling of the gold. "I'm sorry I didn't come to meet you, I'm not the best at greeting visitors. That's more Sosi's line of work." She grins wryly, leading you into the chamber.
It is lavishly furnished and quite beautiful. "One of the perks of being Weyrwoman." She smiles at you, leaning back on the edge of a table. "I suppose since you came in here to see me, you'll want to know a bit about me. I was the product of a green's flight. I never met my father, nor felt any need to. I have five half-brothers and -sisters. One of which is Werylingmaster J'simo, probably the one I'm closest to." She spoke of distate when of her mother, but her voice lightens when speaking of J'simo.
You take a careful look at her as she pauses after speaking. Her brown hair is kept in a single plait behind her head, wisps appearing everywhere. She has a rather homely appearance, a plain look that seems unfitting to a goldrider. Her brown eyes have a serene look to them, but the tan flecks liven them up. She is taller than most women, with a thin and agile frame. You return to listening when she begins to speak again.
"I grew up in the Living Caverns. I became a Candidate, and not long after I Impressed Zreinth. It was rather a surprise to myself actually, and many others, mother included." She grinned slyly to herself. "Only a few months back, the founding Weyrwoman of Asura Weyr died of aging. Those who stayed after her death, named the Weyr Asura after her Gold Asurath. We were going to name it Jeshra Weyr, but using her very name didn't seem right to us." She paused a moment before continuing. "I became Werywoman, and have worked hard at it since. Speaking of hard work, I hope you'll excuse me if I take my leave of you now." Smiling, she turned back to the small Record Room door and disappeared through it. Behind her went a small blue firelizard you hadn't noticed before...
{{Hello Visistor. It is nice to meet you. Sorry for Kayan's abrupt departure, she never thought greeting visitors would be in the requirements of Werywoman.}}
"Zreinth." A warning voice sounded from the Record Room.
{{If you would like, I could tell you about our Impression Story. It's very funny, though I don't know what I was thinking. Either that, or I can tell you a bit of Kayan. In fact, I think I will, since she's not here to stop me.}} Zreinth rumbled happily. {{She's a very good Weyrwoman, though a tad lazy at times. She's as stubborn as a wherry, with a head that seems made of the very rock of this Weyr.}}
"Zreinth!" The voice is a bit more high-picthed this time.
{{Alright. I'll tell you about our Impression then. Maybe next time you visit you'll catch her in a better mood. She uses a kind heart when dealing with her weyrfolk, but when dealing around paperwork her grumpiness becomes a pain.}}
"ZREINTH! Tell them the story or let them leave!" This time the Werywoman's voice is almost shrill, and the gold harumphs unhappily.
{{Fine. I will. So, would you like me to tell you our Impression Story?}}
['Sure!' You answer.] ['No, maybe another time,' You say as you leave.]

Numbweed adopted from here.
!~ Zreinth and Blue Talouth were drawn by myself. Please don't take them! Perhaps one day in the long distant future I will open up an Adoption Weyr of my own, but that is a long way off if ever. If you would like me to consider letting you have a dragon of mine, then you should ask. Stealing is WRONG!
WRONG I tell you! ~!
