"Tyz! Tyzeth, shard it! Quit that!" A small crowd had gathered around the Weyr Bowl. It was early morning, and the only weyrfolk out and about were mostly Wingleaders and Lower Caverns Wokers. At least, on the usual days. Today, however, there were a group of weyrlings at the Weyr Lake. There were only a few, but they seemed very happy. A white and a bronze were off to one side, behaving and happily chatting while they were being scrubbed. Most of the attention, however, were focused on a small pair that were a bit away from the others. The young green was jumping in circles around her rider, stomping her feet and splashing water in every direction. The girl stood up, her blonde hair hanging in her face and her brown eyes narrowed down at the dragon. {{Look, Wyx! They look at me! They look at me!}} Wyxa took a deep breath, then pushed the hair out of her face. [[Yes, Tyz. They are looking at you... because of this silly fuss you're making!]] {{But they're looking, they're looking! I like to be looked at. I'm so pretty. You said I'm pretty, Wyx. I am. Yes, I am.}} The green stopped smiling up at Wyxa and then looking back down at her reflection in the water. {{Ooooohhh... I'm all wavey!}} Her reflection moved with the riples. {{Look at me wave Wyx!}} With that, the tiny green spun around... and crashed right into Wyxa's legs. The pair went tumbling into the water. Wyxa sat up slowly, a wry look on her face. [[What have I gotten myself into.]] {{Water.}} Tyzeth sat next to her. {{You've gotten into the water.}} [[Thank you, Tyzeth.]] Wyxa laughed gaily, shaking her head. "Yes, I remember that." She leaned back against the big green's side, a happy smile on her face. "You were such a vain little girl, I tell ya." The large green turned her head to look at her rider. Tyzeth stuck the end of her tongue out, shaking her head from side to side. {{No I wasn't. I was just very proud of myself, and of you.}} "Yeah, I know..." Wyxa smiled to herself, then stood up and stretched her arms upwards. "I wish Zam would hurry up. If he wants to go to the Gather than he'll have to get his tail in gear. Would you get him, dearie?" {{Zamfin? My rider calls you.}} Tyzeth projected her 'voice' into the Journeyman Dragonhealer's head, making him jump to his feet. He shook his head with a grin and darted out of his office and towards the Bowl. "I wish you wouldn't have her do that. You scare the wits out of me when she does." "Just getting you back for that time you put those bunny ears on her as a weyrling. You deserve to feel my torment." Wyxa gave her brother a wink, pushing blonde hair away from her. "So you're finally ready?" "As ready as I'll ever be." The pair mounted, Wyxa giving Zamfin a hand up and getting him into Tyzeth's passenger riding straps. "Shard!" The small blue firelizard appeared, nestling himself between the two humans.
[[Alright, hon'. Let's take this boy for a ride.]] Wyxa grinned, leaning forward on Tyzeth's neck. The green dragon jumped into the air, beating her wings vigorously. She finally gained altitude above the Weyr, and Wyxa turned to see her brother with his eyes closed. [[Let's go.]] {{Sayanara, Asura!}} She blinked /between/.
